APPARTenances, in the intimacy of the Marolles estates
"The pictures which Annabel Werbrouck and Dominique David present are a glimpse of the work which they jointly conducted and which invites one to lay an eye on the everyday life of inhabitants of the Marolles estates, in the heart of Brussels, in the plainness of their home.
By joining our looks and sensibilities we are trying to show the intimacy of a settlement and of its occupiers, rejecting any sordid or voyeuristic approach, tenderly focusing on reality. In still lives of interiors, portraits of the inhabitants and views of the estates themselves we show here some moments in lives. Whilst the still lives poetically depict the apartments' nooks, we intend to show how everyone takes great care to make their environment the reflection of themselves, of their passions and of their personal story."
